Asintho Dors (aka Assie) and Kasper Janssen (aka Kassa) are two dj's who teamed up in the late summer of 2008 to form KassAssie. Having  met on the legendary Mr. Stubnitz they knew they were after the same thing; underground house music.
Tucked away in two small Amsterdam cribs KassAssie started combining the warm house sounds of old and new with deep and bouncing beats well known from the deep-house/minimal scene. After some time behind the decks they realized they were creating something special. What better place to test their sound then on Queen's night in a packed Cotton Club they thought, and so it went. Being their first public appearance, and the dancefloor shouting for more at the end, they were now convinced that taking their collaboration a step further was the right thing to do.
